What is a Group Owner and how are they assigned?

When you assign a user to oversee a Group as a Group Owner, that Group Owner can only manage those users and perform actions for that subset of users, such as generating Reports and creating Assignments.

If you want to appoint a Group Owner for one of your Groups, first go to the Admin drop down menu and then click on “Groups.”

Choose and select the Group you want to modify.

From the “Group members” list, find the added user you want to appoint as the Group Owner and select “Make Owner” in the far right column.

If you need to revoke ownership of a member for the Group at any time, select “Revoke Ownership” next to the user for who you no longer want to own that specific group.
