What are Groups used for?

Creating Groups in Pooling Academy can allow you to better manage subsets of individuals and assign users as Group Owners within your organizational account to oversee other learners in the Group they own.

When you assign a user to oversee a Group, that Group Owner can only manage those learners within their Group and perform actions for that subset of learners, such as generating Reports and creating Assignments.

The most common use case is for when a medium or large organization has multiple divisions and/or departments, each having their own manager or someone who oversees training for that division and/or department. This allows Organizational Administrators to delegate Group Owners to manage their own department's set of learners.
